CONCILIUS sponsorship:

The snow leopard is a big cat that inhabits the high mountains of Central Asia . Because of its highly prized fur and its importance in traditional Chinese medicine, this protected animal's existence is now threatened by poaching. It is estimated that there are only between 4,500 and 7,500 specimens living in the wild.

Following the excellent tradition of many companies, CONCILIUS AG has decided to use the budget allocated for Christmas presents in 2009 for a charitable purpose, and it has taken over the sponsorship of a snow leopard.

In its living environment, the snow leopard has no natural enemies.

It is an excellent and effective hunter, and, among the cats, it is the one with the most highly developed ability to leap. And although it hunts alone, it nevertheless has a distinct social pattern of behaviour. We believe that the snow leopard is ideally suited to CONCILIUS.

As a company that recognises its social responsibility, CONCILIUS AG feels obliged to promote diversity. Even in nature, however, diversity is now being lost day after day. By undertaking this sponsorship, we aim to make a contribution to maintaining the diversity of species.
