The American Chamber of Commerce in Germany e.V. (AmCham Germany) is a private, non-profit, bilateral economic organization. It represents the interests of American and German companies from all industry sectors that are involved in transatlantic business. Founded in 1903 in Berlin, it is the oldest bilateral trade association in Germany and the world’s second oldest AmCham. Meanwhile, with its 3.000 members, the AmCham Germany is the second largest bilateral trade association in Europe. The members represent 85% of all American investments made in Germany. The investments of 130 Billion € safeguard approximately 800.000 employments.

The AmCham’s mission is to further the competitiveness of Germany as an investment location,
promote trade and investment between Germany and the United States and strengthen transatlantic relations.

As a longtime member, it was a great honour for
CONCILIUS to support the AmCham in producing the brochure „Deutschland 2020 – Zukunft sichern. Eine Vision für Europas erfolgreichste Volkswirtschaft“. Including recommended actions for all relevant policy areas and a 10-Point-Success-Plan, the publication quickly became a favoured reading for both politicians and executives.
